Using Weather Stripping to Keep Areas Under Appliances Clean

If you always cringe at the pet hair or dirt that collects under low sitting appliances like the Washing machine or cabinets, consider using weather stripping to keep it from getting there in the first place.

My Response:

I say that any household tip that saves work is a great tip. I would much rather use your tip for keeping dirt out from under washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, etc. than to try to find a cleaning tip that makes it easier to clean those places.

I always dread moving those huge appliances because I never know what I will find under there. I do seem to find lost items that nobody has been able to find for months though.

And it never fails - if you drop a coin, or other round object, it will roll around until it gets under something huge and heavy, and there it is stuck until time to clean under them.

Your idea will also be great to keep from losing those small items in the first place.
